Michael in Stephenville. I am having a tough time tonight trying to write my "final goodbye" letter to Stephanie. I keep procrastinating and finding other things to do because I do not even want to think about it. God forbid she go before I do.
She got a good scare over the weekend. She was supposed to go to a friend's house with some other friends, but decided to stay at Joey's house instead. It was raining, and right outside of town, a vehicle driven by a TSU student hydroplaned on a curve directly into the path of Stephi's friend's vehicle so that the TSU student's vehicle was broadsided and literally torn in two. The TSU student was killed; Stephi's friends went to the hospital in various degrees of distress, apparently with the most serious injury being a broken leg that will possibly require surgery. Stephi was really shaken.
Lya is in the shower regaling me with a loudly belted out "A Time to Say Goodbye" made famous by Andreas Bocelli. She has been listening to hours of Sarah Brightman and Bocelli lately. (And singing to the accompaniment of her country and western karaoke that I got her for a belated birthday gift.) [Oops. Now all of a sudden she has switched to Phantom of the Opera's "Angel of Music"... She constantly keeps me off guard...
Well, I have to write Stephi's letter. Thank all of you again for your prayers. We love you. We will talk to Lorena tomorrow, and I cannot wait...

Wow what an awful accident.
I am so sorry for the death and the injuries to stephanie's friend. I don't envy you at all having to write a goodbye letter for the simulation. To be honest, I don't think I could do it....too many times I thought about it cuz it was coming all too close with my kids and Tim.
Sorry about the depressing comment. Lya sounds adorable singing...
